Financial & Business Controller
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Financial & Business Controller to join our Business Performance Office. In this role, you will act as a finance business partner, supporting financial and commercial performance through strong controlling, advanced analytics, and high-quality decision support.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong business understanding who is motivated to continue growing their career through increased responsibility, complexity, and strategic exposure.
What you will do
As Financial Business Controller, you will work closely with commercial and operational leaders, as well as the CFO organization, to drive transparency, reporting, performance, and fact-based decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving/supporting financial performance follow-up, cost awareness, and profitability improvements
Analyzing revenue, costs, margins, and profitability across products, customers, and segments
Supporting pricing decisions, major customer deals, and commercial initiatives
Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes as a key member of the Business Performance Office
Monitoring financial and operational KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities, and explaining deviations versus plan
Delivering high-quality management reporting, dashboards, and performance analyses
Translating complex financial and business data into clear, actionable insights
A support as a finance business partner to commercial and operational stakeholders
Supporting the development and follow-up of financial business cases for investments, pricing initiatives, and strategic initiatives
Supporting & Performing scenario and sensitivity analyses to support management decisions
Supporting governance, internal controls, automation of reporting and continuous improvement of controlling processes
Shaping the future way of working
During 2026, we will actively transform how we work with reporting, performance management, analytics, and decision support by introducing AI, automation, and new digital tools. In this role, you will:
Contribute to evolving ways of working within the Business Performance Office
Help explore and apply AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, forecasting, reporting, and decision support
Support the adoption of new tools and methods together with Finance, BI, and business stakeholders
Be an active part of building a more efficient, data-driven, and forward-looking finance function
If you have experience from a SaaS or subscription-based business, you will also:
Analyze SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, retention, and LTV/CAC
Support forecasting and scenario modeling for subscription-based revenue models
Support Sales, Product, and Customer Success to improve growth, retention, and unit economics
Who we are looking for
You are a finance professional with a strong commercial mindset and a desire to continue developing your career. You enjoy combining financial rigor with business understanding and are curious about improving how things are done.
We believe you have:
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish, with professional proficiency in English
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar
10+ years of experience in financial or commercial controlling, business controlling, or similar roles
Solid experience acting as a finance business partner to stakeholders
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and forecasting skills
The ability to work with complex business models and large datasets
Strong communication skills and confidence in influencing decision-making
A few years of experience from financial transactions in one of the larger audit firms (or similar) is seen as a plus.
Experience from a SaaS or subscription-based business is an advantage, as is experience from high-growth or transformation environments.
